Digital & Ultrasonic Rail Flaw Detectors

Overview

Our GCT series delivers field-proven ultrasonic inspection for rail bodies and welds. GCT-8 is a rugged, high-sensitivity offline detector built for extreme environments and deep defect detection; GCT-11 is a connected, fleet-ready inspector with real-time 3G/Wi-Fi transmission and a full database/management suite. Together they provide complementary options for single-device inspection, fleet monitoring, traceable evidence recording and enterprise-scale data management.

Main Products

GCT-8 (Robust offline detection)

  • 7+1 independent Tx/Rx channels; two extra 70° channels; A/B dual mode; GPS black-box; up to 2000 files or 60 min local recording; NiMH battery ≥10 h; −40 to 50°C; 28 kg.

GCT-11 (Connected fleet & data management)

  • 9 channels (6×70°, 2×37°, 1×0°; optional 7); 3G/Wi-Fi real-time transfer; full database suite (auto-archive, maps, playback, reports, planning); 8.4″ high-brightness display; 30 days continuous recording; 21.6V Li-ion battery; 25 kg.

Typical use cases

  • Routine track inspection and scheduled maintenance.

  • Post-weld testing and flash-butt weld inspection.

  • Incident forensics and legal evidence collection.

  • Fleet monitoring and centralized QA for rail operators (GCT-11).

Key Points

Better coverage: multiple 70° probes eliminate common blind spots at rail head and jaw triangle.

A & B scan with playback: clear visualization and evidential recording for complex defects.

Traceable black-box: full session logs for audit and dispute resolution.

Connected workflows (GCT-11): live fleet view, auto-archives and analytics.

Smart field operation: auto-gain, transducer self-check, and one-touch controls.

Rugged design: weatherproof, wide temperature range and long runtime.

Key benefits

  • Reduce missed defects and costly re-inspections.

  • Produce auditable inspection records for contracts and safety compliance.

  • Cut labor and training cost with automated controls and probe health monitoring.

  • Scale from single-site inspections (GCT-8) to distributed fleet operations (GCT-11).

Experience · Expertise · Authoritativeness · Trustworthiness

Experience: The on-site design is based on rail inspection and weld verification processes, supporting black box functionality and playback review to facilitate project acceptance and third-party acceptance.

Expertise: Functions and processes comply with industry standards ( TB/T 2340-2000) and on-site calibration specifications.

Authoritativeness: It is recommended to prominently display the company’s qualifications, inspection/calibration certificates, and third-party testing reports on the page to enhance procurement confidence.

Trustworthiness: All testing data can be exported and stored for a long time, supporting contract acceptance and serving as evidence for legal proof chains.
