Cold forming at ambient temperature: bending is completed at room temperature to preserve the rail’s original microstructure and maintain base material strength and toughness.
Numerical control: intelligent springback compensation ensures consistent bend accuracy across each rail segment.
Multi-die compatibility: a range of dedicated dies supports common rail types including P43, P50, QU70, QU80, QU100, R65, etc.
High-precision inspection: combined laser scanning and total station measurement control forming accuracy within ±2 mm.
Batch consistency: full-process digital traceability guarantees uniform curvature across batches and tight joint fitting.
Optional process — hot bending
For oversized cross-section rails, extremely small radii, or special installation demands, we provide localized hot bending and die-assisted thermal bending, plus follow-on heat treatment and performance testing to meet safety and longevity requirements.

Case Study — Overseas Crane Workshop
Material: QU70 rail
Bend radius: R = 4600 mm; total circular length ≈ 28.9 m
Structure: two concentric rails (upper + lower), each assembled from 6 segments
Upper rail: 6 equal segments, each 4814 ±2 mm
Lower rail: three sizes × 2 segments — 4873 ±2 mm, 5099 ±2 mm, 3794 ±2 mm
Services provided: custom fishplate hole drilling at segment ends; specially manufactured curved fishplates; bending followed by finish machining; assembly testing; anti-corrosion coating.
Project highlights: forming accuracy ±2 mm, fishplate fit ≤ 0.5 mm, and smooth operation without jamming.
