Mine Mesh

Mine Mesh

Overview

Mine mesh / mine screen mesh / minemesh — engineered metal mesh solutions for underground and surface mining: roadway/roof support, roof-fall protection, ore screening, drainage filtration and related safety/production uses.

What we supply?

We manufacture and supply purpose-built mine mesh and mine screen mesh in a wide set of constructions and finishes. Products include:

  • woven/knitted diamond meshes for flexible support and fragmentation containment;

  • welded/spot-welded meshes for flat, high-precision panels used with shotcrete;

  • woven screen meshes for filtration and fine-classification;

  • crimped/embossed (heavy-duty) meshes for high-impact ore screening.

All products are produced to customer specifications and delivered with traceable material certificates and, where required, independent laboratory test reports.

Materials & why they matter

We use commonly accepted mining-grade materials chosen to match site conditions. Typical material families we offer (material selection made per site conditions and confirmed by test certificates):

  • Low-carbon steel (e.g., Q235-class materials): economical, good ductility and weldability — used for general support and temporary protection where corrosion risk is moderate and maintenance access exists.

  • Stainless steel (304 / 316L grades available): superior corrosion resistance for wet, chloride- or chemical-exposure environments; preferred for filtration and long-service components in corrosive settings.

  • Hot-dip galvanized steel: a corrosion-protected, cost-efficient option for damp mines; zinc coating methods and coating mass are supplied with inspection certificates.

  • High-manganese / quenched-tempered steels: used for heavy-duty screening where abrasion and impact are primary failure modes; supplied with hardness and mechanical test results on request.

For any project we recommend a site survey and corrosion/water-chemistry review; final material recommendation and supplied test certificates will reflect the selected material grade.

Configurations & customization

We treat the mesh as a configurable product. Buyers can specify or request help with the following options; each option will be confirmed in the order acknowledgement and included in the technical datasheet delivered with the shipment.

Customizable options (select any):

  • Material grade (low-carbon, galvanized, SUS304, SUS316L, 65Mn / manganese steel, other alloys)

  • Wire diameter (fine filtration → heavy-duty screening) — exact diameters to be confirmed per datasheet

  • Mesh style (diamond-knit, plain weave, twill, welded/square, crimped/embossed)

  • Aperture / open area (fine filtration → large-aperture interception)

  • Panel dimensions (width, length) and thickness/tolerance requirements

  • Surface treatment (hot-dip galvanizing, electro-galvanizing, passivation, anti-rust coatings)

  • Edge finishing and reinforcement (hemmed edges, welded frames, mounting flanges)

  • Mounting/installation features (pre-drilled holes, bolt patterns, anchor tabs)

  • Packing and labelling (bulk, wooden crate, roll packaging, identification tags)

  • Documentation package (material certificates, dimensional inspection, third-party test reports)

How customization is handled:

  1. Provide application details (function, exposure, typical loads/impact, operating environment).

  2. We propose a specification and a bill of materials (BOM) and provide a sample or drawing.

  3. Buyer approves sample/drawing and issues a purchase order.

  4. Production proceeds under documented QC; final batch ships with the agreed documentation.

Selection guidance

Use the following qualitative guidance to select the right mesh family:

  • Roadway / roof support (containment & flexible support): choose a flexible, high-ductility mesh construction with corrosion protection appropriate to moisture exposure.

  • Shotcrete reinforcement / flat panel support: select welded/flat mesh for even mortar adhesion and dimensional accuracy.

  • Heavy-impact screening (crusher feed, coarse ore): select crimped/embossed or heavy-gauge woven mesh made from abrasion-resistant alloy.

  • Drainage / filtration: for water filtration and fine solids separation use woven stainless options; specify filtration rating and request lab-validation for critical systems.

For every project we provide a concise selection memo that maps the application to recommended construction, material and recommended inspection checks.

Testing, traceability & quality assurance

  • Traceable inputs: Each order batch is supplied with mill or material certificates for raw wire/coil.

  • Independent testing: We cooperate with accredited third-party labs for mechanical, corrosion and filtration testing; buyers may request test reports (tensile, weld integrity, abrasion/wear tests, neutral salt spray or equivalent corrosion tests) as part of the documentation package.

  • Batch sampling & inspection: Final shipments include dimensional checks and visual inspection reports; all nonconforming product is quarantined and replaced per contract terms.

  • Technical consultation: Our engineering team documents installation best practices; we provide on-request CAD drawings and installation checklists to support safe and compliant installation.

Installation & maintenance

We supply installation guidance tailored to each mesh type; common elements:

  • anchoring/mounting recommendations for roadway support;

  • tensioning and framing guidance for screening panels;

  • cleaning and replacement triggers for filtration mesh (replacement criteria supplied with datasheet).

Detailed installation RTMs (recommended torque for bolts, recommended overlap and anchoring intervals, inspection intervals) are provided with every order.
